To help us to achieve our growth plans, we are looking for an IT Technician to join us. This is an exciting opportunity, providing the chosen applicant the opportunity to become an integral part of the Call Assist team.
The IT Technician will sit between the current 1st line support team and provide 2nd and 3rd line support along with the current 3rd line Technician and Manager.
Day to day duties will include the usual daily support, along with providing assistance on system migrations and various projects. As well as monitoring PC/Servers for outstanding patches/updates to keep systems up-to-date via WSUS and monitoring system, and monitoring our VMWare environment.
We have a strong emphasis on security and helping to keep our systems running smoothly and securely is key to the role.
We are based in the heart of Colchester close to the train station and a short walk from the town centre.

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:
You must have at least five years’ experience at 2nd/3rd line support
