Call Assist Background

Rescue & Recovery Network

Our rescue and recovery Network is well established and works closely with our Network Department to ensure our customers experience an efficient, timely and safe recovery. Our Network is contractually required to work to the highest standards whilst maintaining industry certification for employees and equipment. PAS43 certification forms part of this minimum standard and applications will only be considered if this has been achieved, or will be achieved within an agreed period.

Call Assist prides itself on technical innovation and our in-house dispatching system ‘CABS’ allows for real time reporting from our Network. The recording of ETAs, ATAs and completion times are all managed electronically. Invoicing is also paperless and therefore, it is essential our Recovery Operators operate the latest electronic dispatching software.

Our Network is managed on its performance and our Network Department provides every Recovery Operator with management reports detailing their results. Estimated times of arrival, on-scene times, roadside repair rates and customer satisfaction scores determine the rank of every Recovery Operator throughout the country. Our minimum standards are demanding and only the best and most efficient Recovery Operators stay within the fold.

Recovery Operators continue to support trade associations and as a result, Call Assist works closely with the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators (AVRO), London Association of Recovery Operators (LARO) and the Road Rescue and Recovery Association (RRRA) amongst others. In terms of safety and training, we are members of The Institute of Vehicle Recovery (IVR). Call Assist expects its Network of Recovery Operators to work closely with the IVR to ensure the ongoing development of safety and technical standards.
